Calling All HP Partners/Consumers
At SpaceBound Solutions, ensuring that our clients have the latest technology and that your data is secure is a critical mission for us. Which is why we wanted to showcase our valued partnership with HP and their use of AMD processors in their products. One of the ways to do this, is for companies to do a tech ‘Refresh’ of their exiting equipment that pairs PC innovation, with Windows 11 (launching soon). So we wanted to let you know about the benefits of upgrading to the latest HP/AMD/Windows solutions!
For starters, what is ‘Refresh’ and what are the benefits?
Refresh, along with Windows 11, is designed to provide a modern, productive experience in order to adapt to latest technological advancements. By describing their mission as “investing in your company’s efficiency, security, and success”, HP encourages organizations to upgrade to see even more productivity.
What separates Windows 11 from HP and AMD’s previous solutions? It’s due to the growth of AI and the always critical need to stay up to date on the latest security measures. AI is of course already seen as a helpful tool to lighten a workload and find the right answers - so having strong security is more crucial than ever before - given constant cyberattacks. And, when your devices have limited capabilities, like; weak battery life, ineffective buttons, a slow network, or unresolved updates, it makes for a miserable work experience that only doubles your workload. On top of that, an outdated computer takes longer to adapt to new challenges that AI can help resolve, like previously slower reactions to data breaches.
Together, HP and AMD have collaborated to build “robust security, unparalleled productivity, and seamless collaboration.” And not just between each other but the software too. Both companies are encouraging organizations to upgrade their technology soon - to see an immediate improvement in: productivity, a competitive edge, cost efficiency, better support, and of course - enhanced security.
HP and AMD have listed the key pillars in their Refresh launch: performance, security, innovation, and collaboration. With performance, AMD highlights its software, RyzenTM AI9, that allows for longer lasting battery life, faster computer speed, and more privacy. Because AI is of course a tool that supports smoother and faster business practices, these updates will help PCs scale up, for quicker adaptation.
By building stronger security, HP and AMD mixed both hardware and software into their security program for Windows 11 and Refresh for a “multi-layered, always-on defense” system. By utilizing both defenses, they ensure a firm recovery from hardware attacks, full memory encryption to protect consumer data, and implementation of AI to recognize and neutralize unfamiliar malware.
In the collaboration pillar, Windows 11 aims to provide an enhanced virtual collaboration experience — allowing studio effects for their background or personal image, blocking background noise, sharing from the taskbar, sharing all specific individual windows for “focused presentations”, and easier switching between work and personal PCs.
For the last pillar, innovation, HP and AMD state that each of these updates will help tailor a personalized and more effective experience for users. They also recognize the shifts in technology that will make replacing your outdated PCs, a no-brainer - so you never have to slow down.
