If you’re prone to damaging your iPhone, you may want to start being super careful because Apple may not be able to offer you a replacement for a little while.

The impact the Coronavirus has had on Apple’s supply chain is apparent – the company informed retail employees that replacements for damaged devices will be in short supply for the next few weeks.

Coronavirus causes symptoms similar to pneumonia.  The virus has infected nearly 96,000 people and caused more than 3,200 deaths globally.

Apple has been seeking alternative sources for parts after the outbreak of the virus has caused suppliers in Wuhan, China – where Coronavirus was discovered – to close.

Apple is not the only major company to be infected by the Coronavirus.  Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, IBM, Netflix and several more companies have all pulled out of major Tech and Film Festival South By Southwest (which is still scheduled to begin next week despite mounting pressure for the event to be canceled).
